Saturday, July 17th, 2010Because sketches are faster, require less overhead, and by their nature are perceived to be less ‘done,’ they are better suited to the task-artifact cycle of design exploration. Wednesday, July 7th, 2010We need more designers that understand the web and can push it forward. Design is no longer about applying the corporate color palette and making it look pretty. Thursday, April 8th, 2010A quick post, a change from my usual weekend post routine.
Some quotes on eduction from the view of a UX designer as seen through twitter:
When will our education system start producing thinkers; people with practical work & life skills; effective communication etc
It seems people only start learning what they need when they start careers, relationships, go through significant events. Some never learn.
These are problems I hear over and over again and I agree. Education needs rapid change, but we are a slow changing society.
